Hello, my name is Juliana, and I am a Brooklyn based artist. I grew up in the rural area of Northern NY and studied film and painting at Syracuse University in Florence, Italy and New York. I have since worked on commissioned paintings as well as the fields of animation, production, design, and illustration.
While my fine art has largely relied on a two dimensional platform, I have recently begun from an idea, rather than a canvas, to form my work. My pieces have varied in materials ranging from performance art to hand crafted three-dimensional forms. This approach has been the best way to find and present my strongest voice.
My fine art work has shown in the East Village and LES Manhattan, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Bushwick Brooklyn, and Upstate New York.
